Bottom Line
Library is fully sufficient to launch every Q2 SOW deliverable without commissioning new photography. Pruning, climber action, team portraits, and commercial property coverage are deep. Real gaps: storm/emergency imagery, stump-grinding close-ups, dramatic large-tree removal sequences, and video.
2022/Staff photos/Former Emps (high risk — quarantine), and ~27 have customers in frame (high risk — need explicit signed releases before any client-facing use). Hard-blockers are roughly 52 photos, not 98.Sample of the Library

Library Strengths
Action coverage
84 crew-at-work shots + 21 climbers in trees = 105 action photos. Deep pool for Spring Pruning, Meta ads, and the services hub.
Team / portraits
101 individual + 26 team portraits. Strong inventory for Sperry Story, Club Welcome sequence, and About sections — pending former-employee filter.
Pruning service
66 pruning-categorized images across multiple seasons — anchors the entire 11-email Spring Pruning calendar.
Commercial coverage
33 commercial/HOA photos plus a dedicated Commercial photos 3.25.21 folder. Enough to seed a credible commercial landing page.
Gaps to Plug Before Q3
- Storm / emergency / hazard imagery — almost zero. Email #6 "Hidden Risks in Your Yard" and the hazard landing page need urgency cues. Plan a staged or post-storm shoot before fall.
- Stump grinding — 10 photos, thin. Commission close-ups with branded equipment in frame.
- Tree removal — dramatic large-tree action — 20 photos. Workable but lean. Email #10 (Summer Spotlight: Tree Removal) needs 8+ strong shots; library is right at the edge.
- Video — only 9 video files (all 2020). Meta Reels and Stories will benefit from 5–10 fresh vertical clips.
- Customer faces — only 3 photos with customer face visible, all needing releases. Effectively zero customer-face content available without legal cleanup.
- Aging risk — library is 4–6 years old. Brand graphics and uniforms may have evolved. Plan a brand-refresh shoot in Q3.
Recommended Actions
- This week — triage releases. Confirm which current team members have a usable release on file. Quarantine the entire
Former Empsfolder (40 photos) until releases are verified. This is the single biggest blocker on usability. - Q2 (Apr–Jun) — proceed with what we have. Library is sufficient for the 11-email Spring Pruning calendar, Meta paid creative, and Phase Zero design comps. No external photography needed.
- Before Q3 launch — half-day commissioned shoot. Targets: storm/hazard scenarios, dramatic large-tree removal sequences, stump-grinding close-ups, 1–2 commercial/HOA establishing shots, refreshed 2026 team portraits with explicit usage releases.
- Establish video pipeline. Phone-shot vertical clips during routine jobs, organized monthly. Even unedited, this fuels Reels, Stories, and ad creative the library currently can't.
- Adopt the index as a workflow tool. Every future campaign brief should pull candidates from the master spreadsheet via campaign_fit tag — no more guessing or duplicate effort.
